Hi fellow broomball fanatics/ new recruits/ casual players who should
show up more often,
we have one more game this month- this weekend, May 26 at 9:45 pm.
This game is at NORWALK ICE, 14100 S. Shoemaker Ave in Norwalk (562)
921-5391. We are having the game there because KHS is booked all weekend.
This game is specifically for Derek, who joined the Army last fall
and will be shipping out somewhere for a year. Let's get a decent
game going for him. He doesn't have the luxury of playing twice a
month anymore.
Also, I am trying to schedule a challenge game with a group from LA,
but the game would be at KHS in Anaheim. The best solution we came
up with is for me to schedule a 2nd hour on one of our existing dates
in June. The first hour would be our regular game, then the 2nd hour
would be US vs. THEM. They would have a dozen or so players, so we'd
need to match their numbers. If we had more, we could rotate people
into the game.
WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO PAY AN EXTRA $15 to PLAY AN EXTRA HOUR
AGAINST TOTAL STRANGERS?
I want to make sure we have enough interest (read: money) before I
book this double header. Drop a line to me or reply via this list.
Lastly, our new home at KHS in Anaheim has public skating until 9:30
only, so there is nothing stopping us from starting early. I will ask
you to start coming at 9:30 pm to our games so we can get some extra time in.
So people, talk to me, do we take this other group on, and take em
down, or what?
Thanks,
Kevin
