I was there - that's the day I met Steve. He was all of 11. It is a funny 
story, but not as funny at the time to be hit in the head by a partially full can 
of beer! Ouch! It was dangerous to swim against the mainstream in those days, 
especially in the ultra conservative South Bay.

I've nothing really to add to the comprehensive and excellent reviews already 
written; the show was everything they said and more. Great to finally see 
Steven, one of my bestest friends and the original bassist of my old band, play, 
and the Mael brothers don't look a day older than when I first saw them 
thirty-one (yes, 31... I'm feeling very old) years ago this month!!
