In terms of music yes, but not in terms of the legalities of the music industry.
The record company is unlikely to allow you to have something for free when they can charge you for it later....by giving you streaming access, they are generating excitement and need in the fan....but by making it 'unobtainable', they are generating a fever pitched need!
Plus, why would you want to steal from Ron and Russ?  Don't they deserve the cash for their endeavours?
