[Mael-list] Re: Give concert reports after the shows and has anyone heard the Dresden Dolls?

Hi All,

Thanks in advance to everyone who is going to see Sparks in Concert.. Please
remember to come home and tell us all about it as soon as you get home.
There is nothing better than listening to someone give a concert report the
night of the gig. If you wait too long, it seems to diminish in ones memory
and unless you write down the set, no one remembers what tunes were played.
Since IO can't be there in person, at least I can hear how good it was!

On another note, I've been listening to Yes, Virginia by the Dresden Dolls
and wonder if anyone else has heard this band? They do two songs which seem
to be paying homage to R&R. The one song has a line about when Mother earth
is on her best behavior, and the other slips my mind at the moment. Anyway,
has anyone else thought they were tipping their hats to Sparks?
