  One of my brothers is a Sparks fan and is also fairly bursting with
creative energy, if not with a wealth of business sense.  Hence he has
designed what he affectionately calls the "RonClock!"  The design phase of
the RonClock is now over and the construction is under way.  He's sent me
some additional photos of the inner workings and of the building of the
clock in progress, but he doesn't want me to share those, and it's too bad,
as they're really very entertaining and the clock's early look is a real
kick.  With not much going on on the mael-list right now, I thought some
people might find a look at the initial design to be amusing.
