I think that is a great idea.... building on what you said, I think I will pull out every CD and listen to them. One each day, in accordance with the bands schedule. 
When they are playing Half Nelson, I'll be listening to it. When They are Puling Rabbits out of a Hat,  So will I.  When Ron is up there doing his Terminal jive, I'll be smiling just like everyone in the audience...

I'm so bummed out that Sparks is doing this where I am not, but like in the 70's... When you could not get tickets for a big concert, one of the radio stations would play the entire album that evening so it was the next best thing as being there...

Perhaps everyone who can't make it to the shows, can do the same thing.
Line up your vinyl or CD's in the same order as the shows. Put on your head-phones and close your eyes and watch the concert in your minds eye...

Thanks Jay for giving me a way to enjoy the show without the airplane ride...
