A few months ago I read a whole article about the owner wanting to close both locations, so I figured Amoeba was done.  
   
  I'm so excited it's still open!  My vacation just got w-a-y better!!

  Since Tower is gone, and I heard Amobea is also closed, where do the cool kids shop for music?  Last time I was there, I hit a place or two on Melrose that sold vinyl, and walked away with several treasures - including some Sparks singles.
