[Mael-list] A new Sparks interview -- and a big ol' Sparks discography

What a great thing  to wake up to on a Sunday morning!

Intelligent questioning and very interesting insights into Ron and Russell's take on the forthcoming marathon  - with great photographs. 

Unless I'm mistaken, the best visual impression to date that we've had of life in the Pentagon.

Oh yes - the discography!  Wonderful.   Cleverly observed, with some great turns of phrase ' a random 1968 Beach Boys number drop-kicked across the Atlantic'.    Just the sort of thing that I can thrust at people that I'm dragging to various London-gigs as a taster of what's to come.

With this, the Economist, the Financial Times - and undoubtedly more to come - the Sparks publicity machine has taken a very interesting and appropriate turn.  

No more dumb questions about Ron's moustache, but thoughtful and relevant  questions and opinions which will (hopefully) further broaden awareness of, and respect for, Sparks.
