[Mael-list] Golden Tickets

I'm doing a really late catch up on my email, and I have about 400
messages to read where I'm sure everyone has discussed every potential
aspect of the 21 shows. I have never been to London, and finally caved
in and bought the plane tickets last night, planning for the first week
of shows (seeing Indiscreet done live would have been one of the top
ranking items on the things to do before I die list). Didn't check the
show tickets first, so I'm only now finding out Kimono appears to be
sold out. Are there likely to be scalpers outside the venue like there
would be here out here in California? Suppose I should have known better
and bought them on the chance I cold work this out earlier.
Joseph is coming too - anyone else that hits the concerts out in
California going to be there?

Thanks for the info.
I do feel very sympathetic for those of you over in the US - I remember
all too well that 19 year wait between 1975 and 1994 when we were
starved of live concerts here in the UK - It's been a bit if a happy
hunting ground since then.
Sadly common sense has prevailed and I have wimped out at a provisional
10 shows. The thought of doing a 100 mile round trip into and out of
London after work virtually every day for a month is just a little too
daunting.
For those of you overseas debating whether to attend - If you have never
visited London and want to at least once in your lifetime, well is there
really a better excuse to do it than now?
After stewing on this all weekend, then receiving a very cool flyer
today in the mail from management announcing these shows, I'm tempted to
spend a ridiculous sum to travel overseas for the primary purpose of
seeing a rock concert, the first time such a notion has actually taken
root in my clearly fading mind. As long as I was going to do it (still
a far out notion), I'd certainly take in 3 or 4 of them. What a
fantastic idea. I hope every one sells out and makes for unforgettable
memories for the Maels and for everyone who attends.
