It's an excellent point, Margaret - er, John! It's probably no easy task to create marketing materials, web sites, etc., or write music, to appeal to both the cult nature of us deeply devoted and the entirely new or less familiar but curious visitors and listeners. The web site appears to target the already-converted, perhaps deliberately. Too bad Sparks' management doesn't interact with us much anymore to provide insight and accept feedback.
Dave, not Margaret

I was initially impressed with the new site - but something's been nagging me!
Now I know what it is.
Whilst the dedicated are prepared to explore and 'nose around' the dimly lit study, it looks remarkably uninteresting to any first time visitor.
Image and appearance have always played a huge part in Sparks' career - but this website offers no visuals of the band/Ron & Russell to excite curiosity. Not sure how the images could be incorporated now but maybe it's something to think about?
OK - I'm done!
John
