That's kind of par for the course, though. Certainly when I worked in the
music business, support bands were rarely paid expenses of any sort. In many
support slots, we only got by by selling merchandise. Tee-shirt or CD sales
got us food and petrol to the next gig. We essentially 'tagged along' with
the main band and had to make our own way. When the record companies give
'tour support' it almost never includes cash for support bands, it's just
not in their interest to do so. If the record company is small and not well
of the tour costs come out of the bands pocket.....

Again, it's a huge expense to put on such a long run in one venue and a
massive undertaking to put an entire crew up in accommodation for a month.
I sincerely doubt they will be raking it in.
