Some thoughts on why Kimono was the least best of the 3 gigs so far.

My first fear was OVER sold out - too many guest lists and press passes to be sure. The constant pushing and shoving by both audience
and pub workers alike. The guy to my left just talked way loud constantly for the first 2/3rds of the show.

With an over-sold out situation comes too many posers, curiousity seekers, girlfriends or boyfriends who could care less about the gig, but
complain constantly about not being able to see.

Perhaps it was also expectations as Kimono is certainly the most famous UK record. It just seemed to me the crowd was just not as into it
as the first 2 nights and it also seemed like the band laboured through many of the songs.
'Talent is an asset' was certainly great with falsetto in place, but as the night went on it seemed Russell's falsetto seemed to get weak.

Don't get me wrong - it wasn't a bad gig, but it didn't seem like they blew the roof off as they should have. ?I'm hoping better for Propaganda.

Nice get together by Frank and Monica beforehand.
