Quite true!  Sparks fans are lifers in all ways, I figure.  :-)

It is interesting that out of all the lists I started or inherited  
back in 1995 (and as I always say, this list was actually inherited  
from the real founder -- all hail Rex, wherever he is!) this is the  
only one that is still going.  I ascribe to an Internet-generational  
thing -- for those of us who began with it or joined in the nineties,  
lists were still the primary way to communicate, whereas for younger  
bands and younger fans there are many other ways now (and I think it's  
very wise that Sparks have embraced them all, via its own site,  
Myspace, etc.).  I think we're a core that remains static but strong  
-- or at least vocal! -- and Sue's always kept us in the loop too.
