That wasn't the Residents gig at the Hammersmith Palais in 1986 by  
any chance was it? Every Residents gig I've been to has been like  
that- almost as many 'what the hell is going on' people as people  
totally absorbed by it. Maybe I'm insane but I can't imagine being in  
a relationship with a woman who didn't 'get' Sparks. They have been  
part of my life for 34 years and this is the most fantastic thing  
ever- I think if I took someone to a gig and they yakked all the way  
through it I'd know I was with the wrong woman.
