That's a tough one but reminds me of another anecdote relating to my  
little brother (previously I mentioned his radio call in comment  
regarding Big Beat). Being five years older and oh-so-cool (at least  
to him), of course he liked the same music. It made no sense to  
duplicate, especially since the only record player was in my room. So  
we had 'ownership' of certain bands. Only two examples come to mind  
at the moment- I had Emerson Lake and Palmer, and he had Triumvirate;  
I had Sparks but let him buy Jet. At the end of the day, his new wife  
is a bit of a minimalist so I inherited his entire vinyl collection,  
including Triumvirate and Jet (not that I needed Jet as I already had  
the magnificent  cd collection released on Fan Mael Records, complete  
with a beautiful 36 page booklet autographed by the band- great work  
Ruud, Carl, and Steph!)
