This weeks blues ads:

1. James Harman Band "Strictly Live In '85...Plus! Vol. 1" (Pacific Blues Records)
 - Reissue of the classic LP (which we have in the library by the way) on cd with bonus tracks. This is the original lineup which features Kid Ramos and Hollywood Fats on guitars, Willie J. Campbell on bass, and Stephen Hodges on drums. Recorded at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA.

2. Guitar Shorty "We The People" (Alligator Records)
 - Shorty's 2nd release on Alligator featuring lots of loud rockin' guitar.

3. William Lee Ellis "God's Tattoos" (Yellow Dog Records)
 - Acoustic country blues with heavy religious overtones bring to mind the work of Reverend Gary Davis and Mississippi John Hurt.
