[Musicdept-talk] Blues Adds

Hi all,
 
Here are a few blues titles added to the new release stack over the last month. 
 
 
1. Seth Walker "Seth Walker" (Hyena Records)
 -  Originally released on Pacific Blues Records earlier this year, Hyena Records now issues this great disc in the hopes of reaching a larger audience. Seth is a fabulous songwriter who sings and plays guitar in the tradition of the Lone Star State of Texas. A very rootsy bluesy feel.
2. Chuck E. Weiss "The Other Side Of Town" (Select Records)
 - reissue of Chuck's first album originally issued in 1981. Has a very garage blues/rock 'n roll feel. Special guests include Dr. John and bassist Larry Taylor.
3. Eric Bibb "An Evening With" (M.C. Records)
 - first live recording by Eric whose style is a mixture of folk and blues reminiscent of Keb' Mo'.
