[Ucrn] UCRN Fall Conference - call for topics/topic feedback

Hi folks!

As mentioned previously on this list, KSPC at Pomona College will be
hosting the Fall 2006 UC Radio Network conference here in Claremont on
Saturday, November 18th.  So far from our conference calls we've come up
with the following at potential topics:

UCRN fall 2006 topic ideas
*	New FCC indecency fines
*	Booking Bands - advice on how to book bands and what criteria to
use- myspace friends, affiliations, etc (KDVS) 
*	How to manage archives- reels, etc
*	Sports roundtable
*	Life After College Radio (panel) 
*	Interview Techniques
*	Fundraising and or business?
*	Volunteer Management panel (with presenters from another local
non-comm station?)
	-management of volunteers hours

Please let me know what topics from this list are important for your
operation, or other topics you'd like to see at the conference.  I'd
like to have a basic consensus on topics by our October 5th UCRN
conference call.

Also, there was a question on our last call regarding conference housing
- I had at least 8 people on our Executive staff say at our last meeting
that they would have some floor space if folks need a place to stay, but
I will also send local hotel recommendations in another email shortly.
