Hi Fahd,
First off, I believe the video from GMEX was from December 1997, because I
remember called a friend up to tell him to see this video on MTV, because we
were gonna see them play three weeks later in Minneapolis in January of
1998.
Second off, Noel said in the KROQ interview with Booker (which someone
posted a few days ago I believe on this list)...the interview talks about
the album's tentative title "The Ear Has No Memory", which I hope is just
that. Tentative. Noel sounded very er, ah, sarcastic in his tone..so I
wouldn't plan on that as a real, qualified cd name until it becomes
official. He said the first single was still up in the air, because there
was a few "great" ones that they are deciding over.
Third, Zac Starkey (Ringo's kid), who actually is an amazing drummer,
drummed for Oasis during last year's Glastonbury and drummed for The Who
among many others, recently, will be drumming for Oasis on the new tour (and
possibly) on the new Oasis cd, rumor has it.
Hopefully that help you and anyone else out,
Matt
